Are you motivated by building software and processes that enable a large developer organisation to scale effectively? Can you develop within a complex system? If so, you could be our next Lead Platform Engineer for Developer Experience at JYSK Head Office in Aarhus.

In this role, you will take technical ownership and create solutions that supports our internal IT development organisation and help them deliver the best solutions possible.

WHAT YOUR NEXT JOB WILL BE ABOUT
Your tasks and responsibilities in the job include:

  • Building and maintaining internal developer tools, platforms, and frameworks to improve developer productivity and consistency
  • Shaping the strategic direction of the DevEx team
  • Closely collaborating with developers to identify pain points, propose solutions, and drive improvements
  • Designing, implementing, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines and automation processes to reduce lead times and find errors early
  • Staying updated on new technologies and proposing new ideas for our platforms
  • Mentoring and collaborating with IT colleagues to strengthen knowledge-sharing and team growth

WHAT SHOULD YOU BRING
We are looking for a new colleague who:

  • Has proven experience shaping the Developer Experience
  • Has great communication skills and collaborates effectively across teams
  • Thrives in a collaborative, developer-centric environment, engaging in requirement gathering, feedback and mentoring
  • Has strong programming skills in one or more of the following: Java, PHP, or JavaScript
  • Has solid experience with CI/CD systems (e.g. GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Argo Workflows), building pipelines, and automation
  • Can balance working with both legacy systems and new services, making pragmatic and well-reasoned decisions
  • Can break down and priorities large and complex features into smaller tasks
  • Takes a proactive approach to improving solutions and challenging the status quo

You need to be available in our Head Office in Brabrand at least 3 days per week.
