Department Details:
Internal Audit Services (IAS) provides independent, objective assurance and consulting services that improve Kaiser Permanente-s operations and controls. Using a risk-based, systematic approach, IAS evaluates and enhances the effectiveness of risk management, internal control, and governance processes. IAS develops and executes the annual audit plan, partners across risk units to coordinate coverage, reports results to the Audit & Compliance Committee, and follows the IIA Standards and Code of Ethics. Our focus is to do the right work, partner with stakeholders, and add value by identifying meaningful risks, practical solutions, and measurable impact.
Internship Projects:
This intern will be part of the National Health Plan, Finance, Human Resources, and Community Health portfolio, supporting audit projects. Responsibilities may include assisting in planning, performing control testing (walkthroughs and process documentation), conducting data analysis, and preparing audit workpapers.
