As we continue to grow, we’re expanding our team and looking for exceptional talent to help drive our next chapter of success. We’re seeking a dynamic Key Account Manager to lead and grow our Medium Voltage portfolio across Victoria and Tasmania, focusing on the Utility sector. You’ll champion Siemens’ medium voltage switchgear and protection solutions, including GIS & AIS, RMUs (up to 33kV), protection relays, and packaged systems. Experience in utilities or renewables will be highly advantageous.

Key Responsibilities

• Achieve revenue targets through balanced hunting and farming strategies
• Conduct face-to-face meetings, presentations, and technical discussions (approx. three days per week in the field)
• Maintain a healthy pipeline and implement strategies to maximise conversion rates
• Understand customer needs, market trends, and competitors to identify new opportunities
• Engage with consultants, contractors, and key utility customers
• Deliver technical support, solution-selling, and product presentations
• Communicate technical features and commercial benefits clearly and effectively
• Develop compelling, value-driven proposals
• Build and execute a 3–5 year strategic business plan for the region
• Expand your professional network across key stakeholders
• Lead contract negotiations and support tailored product and service offerings
• Act as the escalation point for customer issues and ensure timely resolution
• Provide market insights and regular reporting to senior leadership

About You

• 5+ years of sales experience in medium voltage or industrial electrical sectors
• Strong understanding of contracting and tendering processes
• Ability to analyse customer satisfaction data and implement improvements
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage at all stakeholder levels
• Strong relationship-building skills
• Experience in the VIC & TAS electrical or utilities industries (advantageous)
• High technical aptitude and industry understanding
• Knowledge of Australian Standards and regulatory requirements
• Proven account management, negotiation, and solution-selling capability
• Understanding of medium voltage switchgear and protection devices (preferred)
• Willingness to travel across VIC, TAS, and occasionally interstate
