Position Summary

The Advisor Professional Development Program (APDP) at Key Investment Services (KIS) is an exclusive 22-month phased training program tailored for aspiring wealth management professionals. Located at our Damascus, Oregon branch (19830 SE Highway 212), this entry-level opportunity fast-tracks novice advisors through licensing (FINRA Series 7, 66, SIE, and state Life & Health Insurance) while building essential technical skills and financial acumen. Upon successful completion, participants transition into a Private Client Advisor (PCA) role, focusing on Mass Affluent clients ($250K-$2M investable assets) with holistic financial planning and wellness strategies. Ideal for motivated Bachelor's degree holders seeking a client-centric career in banking and investments.

Key Responsibilities

• Grow new clients and deepen relationships with those holding $50K+ investable assets, targeting $250K-$2M segments through consistent sales processes.
• Lead Financial Wellness conversations, create comprehensive financial plans, and uncover cross-selling opportunities in investments and banking.
• Deliver needs-based investment solutions using consultative sales and assessment tools, partnering with branch staff.
• Meet sales production and referral goals via book of business, leads, and branch partnerships.
• Build Centers of Influence strategies and mentor branch personnel to maximize client opportunities.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required; CFP courses preferred.
• Must obtain FINRA SIE, Series 7, Series 66 (or 63/65), and state Life & Health Insurance licenses within 120 days.
