Position Summary

The Advisor Professional Development Program (APDP) at Key Investment Services is an exclusive 22-month program designed for aspiring wealth management professionals. Based at our 1305 E 86th Street location in Indianapolis, IN, this program fast-tracks novice advisors through licensing (FINRA Series 7, 66, SIE, and state insurance licenses) and provides hands-on apprenticeship training. Upon successful completion, participants transition into Private Client Advisor roles serving our Mass Affluent client base ($250K-$2M investable assets). Earn $57,000-$87,000 annually while building a client-centric financial practice focused on planning and financial wellness.

Key Responsibilities

  • Grow new Mass Affluent clients and expand existing relationships through consistent sales processes and comprehensive financial planning
  • Lead holistic Financial Wellness conversations to uncover investment and banking opportunities
  • Deliver needs-based investment solutions using consultative sales methodologies
  • Achieve sales production and referral goals by working leads, book of business, and branch partnerships
  • Build strong relationships with Retail Branch Managers, teams, and Centers of Influence
  • Coordinate investment product delivery and coach branch personnel on referral opportunities

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree required; CFP coursework preferred
  • Must obtain FINRA SIE, Series 7, Series 66 (or 63/65), and state Life & Health Insurance licenses within 120 days
  • Strong communication, sales acumen, and client relationship skills
  • Demonstrated ability to partner with banking teams and centers of influence
