Position Summary

The Advisor Professional Development Program (APDP) at Key Investment Services is an exclusive 22-month program designed for aspiring wealth management professionals. Based at our Moses Lake, WA location (314 East Third Avenue), this phased program fast-tracks novice advisors through licensing (FINRA Series 7, 66, SIE, and state insurance licenses within 120 days) and provides hands-on apprenticeship training. Focus on Mass Affluent clients ($250K-$2M investable assets) with holistic financial wellness planning. Upon completion, transition to a full Private Client Advisor role, building a client-centric financial practice. Competitive salary range: $57,059 - $87,006 annually ($27.40 - $41.83/hour).

Key Responsibilities

  • Grow new Mass Affluent clients and expand existing relationships through consistent sales processes and financial planning.
  • Lead holistic Financial Wellness conversations, uncovering investment and banking opportunities.
  • Deliver comprehensive, needs-based investment solutions using consultative sales and assessment tools.
  • Achieve sales production and referral goals via book of business, leads, and branch partnerships.
  • Collaborate with Retail Branch teams and Centers of Influence to maximize client referrals and cross-selling.
  • Coordinate investment product delivery, mentor branch personnel, and ensure ethical, client-focused service.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree required; CFP courses preferred.
  • Must obtain FINRA SIE, Series 7, Series 66 (or 63/65), and state Life & Health Insurance License within 120 days.
  • Strong sales acumen, client relationship skills, and commitment to KeyBank's values of professionalism and ethics.
  • Physical demands: General office environment with prolonged sitting.
