Position Summary
The Agency Closer plays a pivotal role in KeyBank's Commercial Mortgage Group, ensuring seamless transaction execution from review to funding. This full-time, mid-level position demands precision, compliance expertise, and teamwork in a fast-paced environment. Located at 11501 Outlook Street, Overland Park, Kansas, you'll support commercial real estate deals while upholding the highest standards of regulatory adherence and client service.
Key Responsibilities
- Review Term Sheets, Applications, and due diligence documents with meticulous attention to detail.
- Participate in client and pipeline calls to gather critical information and drive transactions forward.
- Coordinate insurance reviews with 3rd party consultants and approve closing documents per KeyBank and investor guidelines.
- Utilize compliance tools (BS/BO, MCA, RSQ) to meet lending regulations and investor requirements.
- Manage legal processes, collaborate with sales, underwriters, and counsel to resolve issues, and escalate as needed.
- Maintain accurate loan data in origination systems, create Closing Workbooks, and deliver post-funding documents to servicing.
- Support team members, ensure deadlines are met, and uphold risk management practices.
Required Qualifications
- 4-year college degree or equivalent real estate business experience.
- Solution-oriented mindset with strong problem-solving, analytical, and mathematical skills.
- Excellent communication, planning, and organizational abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and ability to thrive in deadline-driven settings.
- Commitment to ethical conduct, compliance, and teamwork.
