Position Summary
The Analyst, Portfolio Management role supports primary Portfolio Managers by performing in-depth financial analysis and preparing underwriting documents for multimillion-dollar credit requests. This position involves monitoring a $5 billion power loan portfolio, conducting risk reviews, and assisting in deal structuring. Key Responsibilities
Portfolio Monitoring & Analysis
- Monitor account liquidity, earnings trends, and performance to minimize losses.
- Manage quarterly risk reviews and annual loan reviews.
- Identify problem accounts and improve KeyBank's position.
Documentation & Reporting
- Prepare credit amendments, consents, waivers, and withdrawal certificates.
- Maintain project performance databases and create Quarterly Power Portfolio reviews.
- Prepare white papers on industry initiatives.
Deal Support & Collaboration
- Assist in new deal analysis, due diligence, and closing.
- Conduct site visits, attend meetings, and support Investment Bankers/Relationship Managers.
Required Qualifications
Candidates must hold a Bachelor's Degree in finance, accounting, economics, or business. Required experience includes financial analysis, borrower analysis, credit write-ups, and capital markets. Key skills encompass financial modeling, Microsoft Office proficiency, data synthesis, communication, and knowledge of credit risks and banking regulations.
