Position Summary
The Asset Manager I - Special Servicing role at KeyBank in Dallas, TX, is perfect for experienced professionals in real estate finance. Key Responsibilities
- Develop approved asset management strategies, business plans, and cases within assigned timeframes.
- Conduct negotiations and correspondence with borrowers, guarantors, and representatives.
- Prepare internal/external reports, maintain portfolio records, and manage the system of record.
- Oversee third-party vendors, subcontractors, and property managers.
- Perform financial analysis to support disposition strategies.
- Travel as needed to meet stakeholders, inspect sites, and review files.
- Assist in training junior staff on collection and workout practices.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent job-related experience.
- 5+ years in real estate law, financial services, or commercial mortgage servicing.
- Strong proficiency in Excel, Word, and Access.
- Excellent written/verbal communication and multitasking in high-volume settings.
- Willingness to travel; knowledge of bank/agency mortgage origination preferred.
