Position Summary
Join KeyBanc Capital Markets (KBCM), the corporate and investment banking division of KeyBank, as an Associate, Infrastructure and Public-Private Partnerships in New York, NY. KBCM serves clients in core industries like consumer, energy, industrials, healthcare, and real estate with expertise in M&A advisory, syndicated finance, debt/equity capital markets, and corporate banking. Our Infrastructure and Public-Private Partnerships team specializes in U.S. project finance, offering financial advisory, third-party debt sourcing (public/private, tax-exempt/taxable), and direct bank loans for sectors including transportation (roads, airports, rail), social infrastructure (stadiums, student housing), and utilities (data centers, water/wastewater).
Key Responsibilities
- Lead transaction analysis, financial modeling, and workstreams for infrastructure projects.
- Develop proposals, marketing materials, project teasers, and information memorandums.
- Coordinate advisory engagements, credit teams, syndications, and derivatives from origination to funding.
- Execute financial advisory, debt arrangement, and balance sheet lending mandates.
- Manage multiple complex transactions under tight deadlines with strong attention to detail.
Required Qualifications
- 1+ years in infrastructure project finance or public finance.
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, math, statistics, accounting, economics, or quantitative field.
- Series 50, 52, 63 (within 6 months); Series 79 if needed.
- Advanced Excel skills, financial modeling, DBC Finance experience.
- Excellent communication, critical thinking, multitasking, and work ethic.
Preferred Skills
U.S. experience with Private Activity Bonds, Tax-Exempt Bonds, TIFIA, RRIF programs; investment bank or bulge bracket background.

Responsibilities
- Lead day-to-day transaction analysis and workstreams
- Build financial models and perform qualitative/quantitative analysis
- Lead proposal development and marketing efforts
- Coordinate engagement activities and advisory management
- Assist in executing financial advisory, debt arrangement, and balance sheet lending
- Produce project teasers and information memorandums
- Coordinate with credit, syndications, and other teams from origination to close
