Position Summary
As a Branch Manager at KeyBank's New Haven branch (195 Church Street, New Haven, CT 06510), you will lead a high-performing team dedicated to exceptional client service. This role combines leadership, sales expertise, and community engagement to drive branch success. Be a problem solver, trusted advisor, and partner to clients while ensuring operational excellence and compliance. Key Responsibilities
- Embody a client-first culture, engaging personally with clients and teammates daily.
- Conduct outside calling to small businesses, developing centers of influence for referrals.
- Grow branch business through retention, expansion, and acquisition strategies.
- Lead, coach, and develop the in-person branch team using KeyBank's Branch Playbook.
- Manage staffing, scheduling, recruiting, onboarding, and performance coaching.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory, security, and operational procedures.
- Facilitate morning huddles, end-of-day debriefs, and joint sales calls.
- Build partnerships with Key Investment Services, Mortgage, and Business Banking teams.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma/GED required; Bachelor's Degree preferred.
- 3+ years sales leadership experience with proven team success.
- 3+ years small business deposit/credit experience.
- Strong knowledge of financial statements, consumer credit (LTV, DTI, credit reports).
- Demonstrated success leveraging COIs and influencing business partners.
- Excellent communication and public speaking skills.
- Availability to work Saturdays as directed.
