Position Summary

As a Branch Manager at KeyBank's Syracuse location (201 South Warren Street), you will lead a high-performing team, drive branch success, and serve as a trusted advisor to clients and small businesses. This full-time, mid-level role focuses on client experience, business development, and operational excellence. Key Responsibilities

• Champion a client-first culture, engaging personally with clients and teammates daily.
• Prospect small business clients through outside calling and community networking, leveraging Centers of Influence (COIs).
• Grow branch business via retention, expansion, and acquisition strategies.
• Recruit, train, schedule, and coach branch staff for peak performance.
• Ensure full compliance with regulatory, security, and operational standards.
• Partner with KeyBank lines of business like Investments, Mortgage, and Business Banking.
• Execute the Branch Playbook to meet activity, behavior, and outcome targets.

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED required; Bachelor's Degree preferred.
• 3+ years sales leadership experience with proven team coaching success.
• 3+ years small business deposit/credit experience and operational knowledge.
• Strong grasp of financial statements, consumer credit (LTV, DTI, credit reports).
• Demonstrated COI leveraging and partner influence skills.
• Excellent communication and public speaking abilities.
• Notary License preferred; Saturday availability required.
