Position Summary

The Business Banking Virtual Relationship Manager plays a pivotal role in managing a portfolio of small business clients remotely. This position involves proactive relationship building, cross-selling financial products, and providing expert financial advice to drive client retention and growth. Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and grow an assigned portfolio of Business Banking small business clients through regular proactive outreach.
• Promote and cross-sell KeyBank's full suite of financial products, services, and promotions via consultative reviews.
• Collaborate on joint calls with Business Banking RMs, Branch Managers, and specialty partners to uncover opportunities.
• Analyze financial statements, assess credit lines, renew loans, and identify new lending opportunities.
• Aggressively mitigate client run-off and strategically manage unprofitable relationships.
• Ensure all portfolio activities comply with KeyBank policies and regulatory requirements.
• Embrace a virtual team model to foster a high-performance sales environment.

Required Qualifications

• Associate's degree or equivalent relevant experience.
• Minimum 1 year in a comparable role demonstrating strong customer service and selling skills.
• 1+ year financial services experience in business/commercial banking with knowledge of regulations and market dynamics.
• Proven small business lending experience.
• Skills in client-centric relationship building, revenue growth focus, risk management, and structured sales practices.
