Position Summary
The Cash Management Advisor (RCMA) partners with KeyBank Business Banking Relationship Managers (BBRMs) to acquire, expand, and retain business clients with moderately complex cash management needs. Based at 66 South Pearl Street, Albany, New York, this role involves identifying client needs, participating in client management, conference calls, and relationship reviews for basic to complex cash management solutions. Ideal for banking professionals with proven sales success and financial expertise.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and close new cash management opportunities via BBRMs and personal center of influence (COI) networks.
- Develop and manage year-round sales planning activities.
- Leverage referrals from inside sales and client service managers.
- Monitor Core Business Banking client relationships and needs, ensuring seamless communication with internal partners.
- Deliver strategic consultations on working capital management and optimized cash flow structures.
- Translate payment product features into tailored consultative pitches meeting business needs.
Required Qualifications
Education: Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience.
Experience: Minimum 3 years in cash management within banking; 3 years in client-focused roles with aggressive growth and service goals.
Tactical Skills: Strong financial acumen (e.g., reading income statements), exceptional negotiating/closing, superior communication.
Personal & Practical Skills: Collaboration, persuasion, influence, adaptable oral/written communication.
Other: Routine travel required; commitment to KeyBank values, ethics, and leadership competencies.
