Position Summary
The Cash Management Advisor partners with KeyBank Business Banking Relationship Managers (BBRMs) to acquire, expand, and retain business clients with moderately complex cash management needs. Based at 175 S 3rd Street in Columbus, Ohio, this role involves identifying client needs, participating in relationship management, and delivering strategic consultations on working capital and cash flow optimization. Ideal for banking professionals with proven sales experience seeking full-time, mid-level opportunities in finance.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and close new cash management opportunities via BBRMs and personal center of influence (COI) networks.
- Develop and execute annual sales planning activities for sustained growth.
- Leverage referrals from inside sales and client service managers.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of client relationships and needs, ensuring seamless communication with internal partners.
- Provide expert consultation to high-value clients on working capital processes and optimized cash flow structures.
- Translate payment product features into tailored consultative pitches that address business needs.
Required Qualifications
Education: Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience (required).
Experience: Minimum 3 years in cash management within banking; 3 years in client-focused roles with aggressive growth goals.
Tactical Skills: Strong financial acumen (e.g., reading income statements), exceptional negotiating/closing, superior communication.
Personal & Practical Skills: Collaboration, persuasion, influence, adaptable oral/written communication.
Other: Routine travel required; commitment to KeyBank's values, ethics, and leadership competencies.
