Position Summary
Join KeyBank's CDLI team as the Team Leader for the Western Region in Salt Lake City, UT. This pivotal leadership role drives strategic growth, business development, and financial performance for our community development lending and investment businesses. You will lead a high-performing sales team delivering acquisition, construction, interim financing, permanent mortgages, tax credit equity, and cash management services to affordable housing owners, developers, and managers. Play a key role in maintaining Outstanding CRA ratings while generating meaningful revenue and community impact.
Key Responsibilities
Sales and Leadership
- Manage financial performance and revenue growth for CDLI sales team across multiple markets.
- Develop market strategies, enhance sales effectiveness, and foster a disciplined sales culture.
- Guide team on client/deal selection, pricing, and credit risk parameters.
- Build and nurture relationships with high-profile clients and centers of influence (COIs).
Community and Market Impact
- Monitor LMI and affordable housing trends to mitigate risks and promote KeyBank's positive influence.
- Leverage PR opportunities to highlight impactful projects and community reinvestment.
- Partner with internal teams like Commercial Mortgage and Capital Markets for holistic solutions.
- Represent KeyBank at industry conferences, workshops, and community boards.
