Position Summary

The Client Administrator role at KeyBank supports Senior Institutional Advisors and Relationship Managers by administering institutional relationships with a focus on client satisfaction, compliance, and operational efficiency. This position involves daily administrative duties, transaction processing, and relationship building across trust/custody, benefit disbursements, investment management, and commercial banking services. Ideal for professionals with banking operations experience seeking to grow in institutional client services.

Key Responsibilities

Client Service & Account Management

• Partner with advisors to monitor accounts, process trades, transactions, and financial reporting.
• Handle daily cash transactions like wire transfers, check preparation, and fund deposits.
• Build rapport with clients, consultants, TPAs, accountants, auditors, and RIAs.

Compliance & Risk Mitigation

• Ensure adherence to KeyBank policies, ERISA, legal, and regulatory requirements.
• Review trust/custody agreements and assist with government reporting (DOL, PBGC, IRS).
• Identify and resolve client issues by coordinating with operations teams.

Operational Excellence

• Manage cash reports, prepare correspondence, and support special projects.
• Collaborate with internal teams for seamless service delivery.
• Proactively advise on operational and investment solutions.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience preferred.
• 1+ years industry experience with institutional clients in administrative or client service roles.
• Knowledge of securities processing, bank operations, and client consultation.
• Strong skills in client service, analytical thinking, communication, Excel, Word, and adaptability.
