Position Summary
The Commercial Client Services Specialist (Lead Specialist) plays a vital role in our commercial loan operations. This hybrid position (Mobile by Design) is based in Brooklyn, OH, requiring two days in-office weekly after initial 100% on-site training for the first 6 weeks. Under moderate supervision, you'll handle telephone and written client requests, process monetary transactions, and manage scheduled and non-scheduled loan maintenance. Ideal for professionals with 2+ years in commercial loan servicing seeking to leverage analytical skills in a dynamic banking environment.
Key Responsibilities
Transaction Processing & Maintenance
- Execute accurate monetary processing via Centralized Funding, including Dollar Transaction Forms and Loan Initial Funding Requests.
- Balance GL entries using APA, post DDA to Hogan, issue cashier checks, and handle wires.
- Perform CLS maintenance like borrowing base ticklers and payment reapplications.
Research & Customer Support
- Process requests through Quest, KeyView, and databases for fee waivers, payment research, and account changes.
- Review reports to ensure system integrity and resolve moderate issues independently.
- Provide stellar service for internal/external inquiries, diffusing challenging situations.
Team Leadership
- Check work of junior staff and recommend process improvements.
- Escalate complex problems while contributing to workflow enhancements.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma required; Bachelor’s in Finance/Accounting preferred.
- 2+ years commercial loan servicing experience with systems like CLS/CL3, LoanIQ.
- Strong accounting knowledge, analytical skills, and banking regulation familiarity.
- Proven communication, decision-making, and customer service expertise.

- Post DDA entries, issue cashier checks, and process outgoing wires
- Handle requests via Quest, KeyView including fee waivers, payment reapplications, and research
- Perform maintenance on CLS such as borrowing base ticklers and advance paydown ticklers
- Review and act on reports to ensure system integrity and minimize customer impact
- Provide customer service for billing inquiries, service requests, and complaints
- Check work of less experienced employees and escalate complex issues
