Position Summary

The Communications Manager (Internal/External) is a strategic individual contributor role reporting to the Senior Communications Manager. Based at 1301 Avenue of the Americas, New York, NY, this position supports Commercial, Wealth, and Institutional lines of business. You'll develop and execute integrated communications plans, craft compelling content, and engage stakeholders to advance KeyBank's priorities. Key Responsibilities

Strategic Partnership and Support

• Act as a knowledgeable advisor to business leaders, analyzing needs and designing communication strategies.
• Proactively drive employee communications aligned with KeyBank's enterprise strategy.
• Draft critical communications, messaging, and senior leader talking points.

Integrated Communications Execution

• Develop comprehensive plans that inform, engage, and drive business performance.
• Coordinate across owned, earned, paid, and social channels for maximum impact.
• Support thought leadership, media interviews, awards, and executive positioning.

Relationship Building and Brand Protection

• Build collaborative relationships with business partners, journalists, and internal teams.

Required Qualifications

We seek candidates with a proven track record in communications campaigns, strong media relationships in national and financial outlets, and an integrated marketing mindset. Excellent writing skills, intellectual curiosity, and solutions-oriented storytelling are essential.
