Position Summary

The Corporate Events Planner role within KeyBank's Commercial Events team is perfect for a detail-oriented professional passionate about creating impactful client events and tradeshows. Based in Cleveland, OH, this hybrid position (3+ days on-site for local candidates) offers flexibility for those in Eastern, Central, and Mountain time zones, with fully remote options outside KeyBank's footprint. East Coast time zone schedule required. Travel up to 25% with overnight stays.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with stakeholders to define event goals and execute seamless logistics from venue sourcing to onsite support.
• Manage budgets, travel, expenses, and vendor relationships while generating creative ideas for entertainment and gifts.
• Lead marketing efforts including email invitations, registration sites, pre-event communications, and post-event recaps.
• Oversee print materials, shipping, and administrative tasks using Excel, PowerPoint, and project management tools.
• Support internal events and demonstrate proactive leadership across teams.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in events, marketing, or communications.
• 2+ years direct experience in events, marketing, or communications roles with project management expertise.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Excel, PowerPoint) and project management software.
• Excellent communication skills, ability to manage multiple deliverables, and thrive in team environments.
• Valid driver's license for occasional vehicle operation; ability to lift up to 10 lbs.
