Position Summary

The Hire Ahead Private Client Banker (PCB) role at KeyBank's Tacoma branch (8402 Pacific Avenue, Tacoma, WA 98444) is your opportunity to make a real impact. As part of the Key Private Client Program, you'll serve clients with up to $2M in investable assets, acting as a trusted advisor. Focus on holistic financial wellness by assessing needs, documenting data, and referring tailored solutions across retail banking, investments, mortgages, and business banking. This hire-ahead position prepares top talent for future PCB opportunities while contributing immediately to branch success.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional client experiences by listening for financial opportunities and providing customized recommendations, including referrals for investments and insurance.
• Prospect and build referral pipelines through disciplined calling, networking, and partnerships with internal teams like Key Investment Services and Mortgage.
• Open accounts (checking, business, deposits, lending) and educate clients on digital tools like mobile apps and online banking.
• Ensure compliance with all policies, support branch operations (including teller duties), and participate in daily huddles.
• Achieve sales goals, overcome objections, and foster relationships with small business clients.

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED required; Bachelor's Degree preferred.
• FINRA S6, S63, and SIE licenses required upon hire.
• Proven experience in customer relationships, sales goals, prospecting, and influencing partners.
• Strong interpersonal skills, PC proficiency (MS Office), and digital tech knowledge.
• Comfort with Saturday shifts and dynamic branch environment.
