Key Responsibilities
Client Engagement & Origination
- Prospect new relationships via internal referrals and external centers of influence.
- Originate and process family residential mortgages in compliance with guidelines.
- Guide clients through mortgage options, rates, and terms for informed decisions.
Loan Processing & Compliance
- Gather documentation at registration and maintain primary contact status.
- Ensure loan quality, efficient system use, and adherence to regulations like FNMA, FHA, VA.
- Monitor real estate trends and KeyBank product knowledge.
Required Qualifications
Education & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in business or equivalent (preferred).
- 1+ years mortgage sales (required); processing experience (preferred).
- Familiarity with mortgage regulations, risk assessment, and full loan lifecycle.
Essential Skills
- Superior communication, customer service, and multitasking abilities.
- Outbound calling proficiency and sales system expertise.
- Capacity to evaluate creditworthiness and structure compliant financing solutions.
