Position Summary
The Investment Banking Analyst, Oil & Gas role offers exceptional exposure to high-impact M&A, capital raising, and strategic advisory transactions in the energy sector. Key Responsibilities
Financial Modeling & Analysis
- Build sophisticated Excel models for valuation, M&A, and transaction analysis
- Analyze financial statements, performance metrics, and market trends
Research & Deal Support
- Conduct in-depth Oil & Gas industry and company research
- Prepare pitch books, CIMs, management presentations, and client materials
- Support due diligence and transaction execution processes
Team Collaboration
- Work closely with Associates, VPs, and Managing Directors
- Participate in client meetings, strategy sessions, and team discussions
- Maintain compliance and ethical standards
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or related field
- 1+ years investment banking, corporate finance, or financial services experience preferred
- Strong Excel modeling, research, and communication skills
- Familiarity with Bloomberg, Capital IQ, FactSet
- FINRA SIE, S7, S79, S63 preferred
- Hybrid work with occasional travel; ability to thrive in high-pressure settings
