Position Summary

As an Investment Banking Vice President - Healthcare (Cain Brothers) at KeyBank, you'll lead teams in delivering financing and advisory services to healthcare clients. This hybrid role (#LI-Hybrid) combines strategic leadership, financial expertise, and client relationship management in the fast-paced world of healthcare investment banking. With a competitive base salary from $160,000 to $334,000 plus incentives, this position offers substantial growth potential in San Francisco's vibrant financial hub.

Key Responsibilities

Team Leadership & Deal Execution

• Lead Associates and Analysts in creating pitch materials and providing advisory services.
• Manage comprehensive financial modeling, valuation analyses, and transaction execution.
• Mentor and develop junior team members in the Consumer & Retail Group.

Client Advisory & Market Intelligence

• Serve as trusted advisor, leveraging deep healthcare industry knowledge and capital markets expertise.
• Analyze financial statements and metrics of public companies to generate actionable insights.
• Develop understanding of sector trends, competitive dynamics, and financial impacts on clients.
• Eventually lead origination efforts, including prospect identification and new mandate generation.

Collaboration & Growth

• Coordinate firm resources for optimal client solutions.
• Maintain communications with team members and product partners.
• Participate in talent recruitment and franchise-building activities.

Required Qualifications

To succeed, candidates need at least 5 years of investment banking experience with relevant healthcare or Consumer & Retail client interactions. Proven deal team management, excellent communication skills, and ability to thrive in time-sensitive environments are essential. A Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or related field (MBA preferred) and Series 7 license are required. KeyBank values independent workers who excel in teams.
