Position Summary
The IT Senior Business Analyst at KeyBank works with cross-functional teams to optimize application capabilities and business processes. This role provides essential business analysis and project support for development, enhancements, quality assessment, and ongoing support of key lines of business (LOBs). Actively participate in application support rotations, including issue analysis and resolution. Ideal for experienced professionals with mainframe banking application expertise seeking to drive strategic IT initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle application support duties: research, issue resolution, incident management, and ServiceNow change management tasks.
- Manage research email inboxes with timely responses.
- Lead as Team Manager for Call Support rotation, preparing and conducting meeting agendas.
- Identify potential issues impacting applications and formulate proactive solutions.
- Capture complex system requirements, translate into technical specs, and support SDLC deliverables.
- Participate in design, user acceptance testing, and influence feature enhancements aligned with business priorities.
Required Qualifications
- Knowledge of Hogan Deposits (IDS), CIS, RPM, Umbrella, and KeyBank mainframe applications.
- Banking/transaction processing experience; 5+ years relevant experience required.
- Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent; proficient in MS Office, Teams, Jira.
- Strong analytical skills, self-motivation, excellent communication, and multitasking abilities.
