Position Summary

The Key Family Wealth Strategist serves as the senior advisor and primary point of contact for UHNW families, driving revenue growth, client retention, and next-generation relationship development. Based at our 301 East Fourth Street location in Cincinnati, Ohio, this role demands deep expertise in family wealth management and proven sales leadership in the UHNW market.

Key Responsibilities

Advisory Excellence

Act as the lead trusted advisor for complex UHNW families, building deep trust while developing comprehensive knowledge of their financial and family dynamics. Position Key Family Wealth as the premier family office solution.

Sales Leadership

Orchestrate the full sales process for new referrals, cultivate internal and external networks, and achieve revenue targets. Lead onboarding in partnership with the Family Office Director and participate in industry events to expand COI relationships.

Client Service & Retention

Execute exceptional client experiences, document tailored strategies, and deepen relationships including next-gen development. Collaborate with senior leadership and internal teams to exceed UHNW expectations.

Market Intelligence

Maintain savvy knowledge of competitors' offerings, pricing, and weaknesses to ensure KeyBank's competitive edge.

Required Qualifications

Candidates must have 10+ years of advisory experience with UHNW individuals, families, and family offices, plus a graduate degree in business or equivalent. Expertise in tax, investments, and estate planning is essential, alongside exceptional communication skills across diverse client profiles. Preferred: JD, CPA, CFA, CFP, new business accomplishments, and published industry thought leadership.
