Position Summary

The KPB Sr Fiduciary Strategist plays a pivotal role in KeyBank's private banking division, providing expert fiduciary advisory services to ultra-high-net-worth clients and their beneficiaries. Based at our 1301 5th Avenue office in Seattle, WA, this senior position involves collaborating closely with relationship management teams to deliver tailored estate, tax, and financial planning solutions. Key Responsibilities

Client Advisory and Planning

  • Lead fiduciary advice delivery as part of exceptional client experiences.
  • Develop insights into family dynamics and beneficiary needs.
  • Review estate documents, analyze legal instruments, and recommend planning alternatives.
  • Facilitate estate, tax, and philanthropic strategies, resolving issues with clients and advisors.

Relationship and Business Development

  • Collaborate with relationship managers, external advisors, and internal partners.
  • Identify opportunities in investments, trusts, banking, and lending; participate in pricing.
  • Lead onboarding, retain clients, and deepen relationships across generations.
  • Contribute to annual client plans and sales meetings.

Compliance and Leadership

  • Adhere to fiduciary policies, regulations, and ethical standards.
  • Engage fiduciary partners and demonstrate community leadership.
  • Manage delegated administrative work and advise on fiduciary issues.

Required Qualifications

Candidates must hold a Bachelor's degree (Master's, JD preferred) and possess 10+ years of experience in client advisory for ultra-affluent clients, trust administration, or fiduciary services. Proven fiduciary expertise, high-net-worth client experience, and preferred certifications like CPA, CTFA, or CFP are essential.
