Position Summary

The KPB Trust Officer plays a pivotal role in KeyBank's fiduciary services, managing the administration and post-death settlement of complex trust accounts for ultra-affluent clients. This position demands deep expertise in trust administration, client servicing, and sales to retain existing relationships and drive new revenue. As a trusted advisor, you'll collaborate with relationship teams to deliver sophisticated fiduciary solutions, ensuring compliance and high professional standards in a dynamic wealth management environment.

Key Responsibilities

Fiduciary Expertise and Trust Administration

  • Maintain expertise in fiduciary, investment, tax, and wealth management issues.
  • Administer complex fiduciary accounts proactively and comprehensively.
  • Analyze legal instruments, resolve tax issues, and apply sound fiduciary judgment.

Client Servicing, Retention, and Sales

  • Execute proactive client contacts via Salesforce to deepen relationships, including next-generation beneficiaries.
  • Identify opportunities in investments, trusts, banking, lending, and insurance.
  • Lead relationship development and participate in onboarding new clients.

Team Collaboration and Compliance

  • Provide backup support, serve as a team resource, and ensure adherence to policies and regulations.
  • Mitigate risks and maintain accountability for assigned accounts.

Required Qualifications

  • Undergraduate degree or equivalent, preferably in accounting or finance.
  • 5+ years of experience in client advisory for ultra-affluent clients, trust administration, or fiduciary services.
  • Demonstrated fiduciary experience and work with high-net-worth clients in private banking.
  • Agility collaborating with private banking, commercial, and investment banking teams.
  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented with proven end-to-end process management.
