Position Summary

The KPB Trust Officer plays a pivotal role in KeyBank's Private Bank, fulfilling fiduciary responsibilities for trust administration and post-death settlements. This position involves providing sophisticated trust and estate counsel to high-net-worth clients, managing complex fiduciary accounts, and driving revenue growth through client retention and new business development. Based at 4900 Tiedeman Road in Brooklyn, OH, you'll collaborate with relationship teams to deliver exceptional service and expertise in fiduciary matters.

Key Responsibilities

Fiduciary Expertise and Trust Administration

  • Maintain deep knowledge of fiduciary, investment, tax, and wealth management issues.
  • Design and deliver tailored fiduciary solutions for clients with complex needs.
  • Administer accounts proactively, interpret legal instruments, and resolve tax-related issues.

Client Servicing, Retention, and Sales

  • Execute proactive client contacts to retain and deepen relationships, including next-generation beneficiaries.
  • Identify opportunities for investment management, lending, and insurance products.
  • Participate in onboarding and relationship reviews as a fiduciary expert.

Team Collaboration and Compliance

  • Provide backup support to team members and serve as a resource for projects.
  • Adhere to all fiduciary policies, regulatory requirements, and mitigate risks.
  • Demonstrate leadership through teamwork, integrity, and community involvement.

Required Qualifications

  • Undergraduate degree or equivalent, preferably in accounting or finance.
  • 5+ years of experience in client advisory for ultra-affluent clients, trust administration, or fiduciary services.
  • Proven fiduciary experience and work with high-net-worth individuals.
  • Agility in partnering with private banking, commercial, and investment teams.
  • Self-motivated with strong organizational skills to manage workflows and deadlines.
