Position Summary

The Lead Finance Analyst – Commercial Card & Automation role is pivotal in driving the financial performance and strategic direction of KeyBank's Commercial Card & Automation business. Reporting to high-visibility leadership including the Commercial Bank CFO, you'll provide actionable insights, forecasting, and analytics to support growth in payments and automation sectors. This mid-level position offers exposure to senior executives and cross-functional teams in a fast-paced banking environment.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Strategy & Forecasting

Take ownership of long-term forecasting processes, leveraging data to create forward-looking expectations that guide business decisions.

Business Partnership & Leadership Support

Collaborate closely with product and finance leaders to deliver transparent financial results and ensure strategic alignment across the organization.

Reporting & Performance Analytics

Produce consistent, accurate reporting emphasizing key business drivers, while handling ad-hoc analysis, special projects, and regulatory compliance support.

Required Qualifications

Candidates must hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Data Science, Mathematics, or a related field, with 2+ years of experience in Finance, Payments, or Product Management. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint is essential, alongside strong analytical skills, strategic mindset, and executive communication abilities. Experience with large datasets, financial modeling, and influencing senior leaders without direct authority is required. Preferred skills include SQL, Google Big Query, Tableau, and financial software like Workday Financials.
