Position Summary
The Lead Teller - Cascade Park position at our Vancouver, WA branch (13215 SE Mill Plain Boulevard) offers a salary range of $18.75 - $24.52 per hour ($39,000 - $50,998 annually). As a Lead Teller, you'll be the frontline leader in delivering outstanding client experiences, resolving complex issues, and coaching tellers to excellence. This mid-level role requires strong leadership, cash handling expertise, and a passion for financial wellness in a full-time capacity, including Saturday shifts as needed.
Key Responsibilities
Client Service & Leadership
- Embody a client-first culture, resolving complex servicing issues and enhancing relationships.
- Listen for financial needs and transition clients to bankers for deeper conversations.
- Coach tellers on efficient operations, client experience, and compliance.
Operational Excellence
- Manage teller line scheduling, staffing, and daily operations.
- Process transactions accurately, balance cash drawers, and maintain security protocols.
- Support branch manager in onboarding and training new tellers.
Required Qualifications
To succeed as a Lead Teller at KeyBank, candidates need:
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent required.
- 3+ years of superior client relationship skills and cash handling experience.
- Demonstrated leadership, organizational skills, and PC proficiency (Windows-based).
- Notary License preferred; strong sales, service, and judgment skills essential.
