Position Summary
The Licensed Private Client Banker (PCB) at KeyBank's Denver branch (6405 East Hampden Avenue, Denver, CO 80222) is a trusted advisor focusing on clients with up to $2M in investable assets. This full-time role involves a plan-based approach to financial advice, assessing needs, documenting data, and referring solutions across retail banking, investments, private banking, mortgage, and business banking. PCBs embody a client-first culture, prospect for opportunities, and support branch operations while holding required FINRA licenses (S6, S63, SIE).
Key Responsibilities
Client Engagement & Financial Wellness
- Listen for financial opportunities and deliver customized recommendations, referring investment and insurance products.
- Build and maintain referral pipelines through internal/external centers of influence and disciplined prospecting.
Sales & Operations
- Open accounts (checking, business, deposits, lending, CDs) and deepen client relationships.
- Partner with branch teammates, Key Investment Services, Mortgage, and Business Banking professionals.
- Support teller transactions, morning huddles, end-of-day debriefs, and Saturday shifts as needed.
Compliance & Development
- Maintain knowledge of KeyBank and competitive products for meaningful conversations.
- Ensure adherence to operational, risk, security, and audit policies.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma/GED (required); Bachelor's Degree (preferred).
- Experience developing customer relationships, achieving sales goals, and building insurance/investment referrals.
- Foundational sales/service skills: tele-consulting, prospecting, networking.
- Interpersonal skills to build rapport quickly and influence partners.
- PC proficiency (MS Office), digital tech knowledge (mobile apps, web), and FINRA licenses S6, S63, SIE upon hire.
