Position Summary
As a Licensed Private Client Banker (PCB) at KeyBank's Hamden branch located at 1248 Dixwell Avenue, you will serve clients with up to $2M in investable assets. Embrace a plan-based approach to financial advice, assessing needs, documenting data, and referring tailored solutions across retail banking, investments, private banking, mortgages, and business services. Be a problem solver and partner, helping clients achieve financial confidence.
Key Responsibilities
- Champion exceptional client experiences by listening for financial opportunities and delivering customized recommendations, including referrals for investments and insurance.
- Prospect and build referral pipelines with internal and external centers of influence, documenting efforts diligently.
- Open various accounts including consumer checking, small business, deposits, home equity, and CDs.
- Foster partnerships with branch teammates and specialists in Key Investment Services, Mortgage, and Business Banking.
- Maintain compliance, support teller operations, and participate in daily huddles.
Required Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma/GED required; Bachelor's Degree preferred.
- Experience: Proven track record in customer relationships, sales goals, prospecting, networking, and influencing partners. Comfort with small business clients and objection handling.
- Skills: Strong interpersonal rapport-building, PC proficiency (MS Office), and digital technology knowledge to educate clients.
- Licenses: FINRA S6, S63, SIE, and Life & Health Insurance licenses required upon hire.
