Position Summary
As a Licensed Private Client Banker in Kennebunk, ME, you'll act as a trusted advisor, problem solver, and partner to clients with up to $2M in investable assets. Focus on holistic financial wellness using a plan-based approach, assessing needs, documenting data, and delivering or referring tailored solutions across retail banking, investments, private banking, mortgages, and business services. Embody a client-first culture while supporting branch operations.
Key Responsibilities
Client Engagement & Financial Advice
- Listen for financial opportunities and provide customized recommendations, referring investment and insurance products.
- Build and maintain referral pipelines through disciplined prospecting, internal/external networking, and centers of influence.
Sales & Relationship Building
- Open accounts (checking, business, deposits, lending, CDs) and deepen client relationships.
- Partner with branch teams, Key Investment Services, Mortgage, and Business Banking for client acquisition.
Operations & Compliance
- Ensure adherence to risk, security, and audit policies; document interactions.
- Support teller line, huddles, debriefs, and Saturday shifts as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma/GED required; Bachelor's Degree preferred.
- Experience: Proven sales in insurance/investments, relationship building, prospecting, networking; comfortable with small businesses.
- Skills: Rapport-building, influencing partners, PC proficiency (MS Office), digital tech savvy.
- Licenses: FINRA S6, S63, SIE required upon hire; Life and Health Insurance licenses preferred.
