Position Summary
The Licensed Private Client Banker (PCB) role at our Mercer Island, WA branch is ideal for seasoned banking professionals passionate about holistic financial advising. Focus on clients with up to $2M in investable assets, delivering plan-based advice, assessing needs, and referring tailored solutions across Retail, Investments, Private Bank, Mortgage, and Business Banking. This full-time position offers a salary range of $50,998 - $78,000 annually (converted from $24.52 - $37.50/hour), plus benefits. Located at 2731 77th Avenue SE, Mercer Island, Washington 98040.
Key Responsibilities
- Embody a client-first culture, listening for financial opportunities and providing customized recommendations via referrals for investments and insurance.
- Prospect and build referral pipelines with internal/external influencers, documenting efforts meticulously.
- Open accounts (checking, business, deposits, lending) and support teller operations as needed.
- Foster partnerships with branch and line-of-business teams for client acquisition and retention.
- Maintain deep knowledge of KeyBank and competitive products for meaningful conversations.
- Ensure full compliance with policies, participate in huddles, and work Saturdays as directed.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma/GED required; Bachelor's preferred.
- FINRA S6, S63, SIE licenses upon hire.
- Proven experience in customer relationships, sales goals, insurance/investment referrals.
- Sales techniques: tele-consulting, prospecting, networking; comfort with small businesses.
- Exceptional rapport-building, partner influence, PC/digital tech proficiency.
