Position Summary
As a Licensed Private Client Banker (PCB) at KeyBank's Tacoma branch (2633 N Pearl Street), you will serve clients with up to $2M in investable assets. Embrace a plan-based approach to financial advice, assessing needs, documenting data, and referring tailored solutions from Retail, Key Investment Services, Private Bank, Mortgage, or Business Banking. High school diploma required (Bachelor's preferred), with essential FINRA S6, S63, SIE licenses and Life/Health Insurance licenses upon hire.
Key Responsibilities
- Champion exceptional client experiences by listening for financial opportunities and delivering customized recommendations.
- Prospect and build referral pipelines with internal/external centers of influence, documenting efforts diligently.
- Open accounts (checking, business, deposits, lending, CDs) and deepen client relationships through partnerships.
- Maintain expertise in private client products, competitive offerings, and digital platforms to educate clients.
- Support branch operations, teller line, huddles, and ensure full compliance with all policies and procedures.
Required Qualifications
Demonstrate sales experience achieving goals in insurance/investments, foundational knowledge of tele-consulting/prospecting/networking, and rapport-building skills. Comfort with small business clients, objection handling, and influencing partners like Investment Services and Mortgage pros is key. Proficient in MS Office, PCs, mobile apps, and web technologies. Experience developing customer relationships and leveraging referrals required.
