Key Responsibilities
- Prospect and acquire new merchant services clients via external sources and bank referrals from Retail, Business, Private Banking, and Treasury teams.
- Consult with businesses to recommend and sell merchant payment processing solutions, including credit cards, check processing, gift cards, ACH, hardware, and software.
- Identify additional banking needs and partner with KeyBank resources for comprehensive solutions.
- Manage client relationships, resolve issues, and ensure satisfaction to achieve growth goals.
- Prospect SMBs in assigned territory while upholding KeyBank's ethical standards.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
- 1+ years payments experience in banking.
- 1+ years in client-focused sales with aggressive growth goals.
- Strong financial acumen, negotiation, communication, and relationship management skills.
- Valid driver's license for frequent travel; ability to lift up to 10 lbs.
