Position Summary
As a Mortgage Loan Officer (MLO) at KeyBank's Dublin, OH branch located at 6820 Perimeter Loop Road, you will assist clients in originating residential mortgage loans. Provide expert analysis and advice on home lending solutions tailored to their financial objectives. Drive business growth through referrals, meet sales goals, and uphold high standards of client satisfaction and loan quality. This full-time role requires in-branch presence 4+ days per week, including morning huddles and end-of-day debriefs.
Key Responsibilities
- Prospect and develop new home lending business and client relationships.
- Originate and process family residential mortgage transactions per guidelines.
- Advise clients on mortgage options, interest rates, and terms.
- Gather documents and maintain primary contact during the loan process.
- Ensure efficient workflows and compliance with KeyBank policies.
- Build partnerships with real estate agents and financial advisors.
- Monitor real estate market trends and industry developments.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business or equivalent experience (preferred).
- 3+ years as a loan officer in first mortgage production (preferred).
- Knowledge of FNMA, FHLMC, FHA, VA, RESPA, and related regulations.
- Excellent communication, customer service, and sales skills.
- Financial acumen for market analysis and strategic advice.
- Valid driver's license for multi-location travel.
