Position Summary
As a Mortgage Loan Officer (MLO) at KeyBank's Exton branch (601 North Pottstown Pike), you'll assist clients in originating residential mortgage loans, providing expert analysis and advice on home lending solutions. Drive business growth through referrals, exceed sales goals, and maintain top-tier client satisfaction and loan quality. This full-time role requires 4+ days/week in-branch presence, including morning huddles and debriefs.
Key Responsibilities
- Prospect and originate family residential mortgages while building client relationships.
- Guide clients through mortgage options, interest rates, and terms for informed decisions.
- Manage loan process from document gathering to closing as primary contact.
- Stay current on real estate trends, KeyBank products, and regulations like FNMA, FHA, VA.
- Ensure compliance with all KeyBank policies and ethical standards.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business or equivalent (preferred).
- 3+ years as a loan officer in first mortgage production (preferred).
- Knowledge of mortgage regulations (FNMA, FHLMC, FHA, VA, RESPA, etc.).
- Excellent communication, customer service, and sales skills.
- Financial acumen for market analysis and strategic advice.
- Valid driver's license for multi-location travel.
