Position Summary
As a Mortgage Loan Officer (MLO) at KeyBank's Gresham branch located at 390 NW Burnside Rd, you will assist clients in originating residential mortgage loans. Provide expert analysis and advice on home lending solutions tailored to their financial objectives. This full-time role requires meeting sales goals, developing referrals, and maintaining high standards of client satisfaction and loan quality in a branch environment.
Key Responsibilities
Business Development & Client Service
- Prospect and originate family residential mortgage transactions
- Provide detailed information on mortgage options, interest rates, and terms
- Gather loan documents and remain the primary client contact
- Work in-branch 4+ days/week, participating in huddles and debriefs
Compliance & Expertise
- Maintain proficiency in sales systems and industry regulations
- Develop deep knowledge of KeyBank products and market trends
- Ensure ethical conduct and compliance with all policies
Required Qualifications
Ideal candidates bring 3+ years of mortgage loan officer experience, knowledge of FNMA, FHA, VA regulations, and a Bachelor's degree (preferred). Excellent communication, customer service, and sales skills are essential, along with financial acumen for analyzing trends and building partnerships with real estate professionals. A valid driver's license is required for occasional travel.
