Position Summary
As a Personal Banker at KeyBank's Indianapolis location (1305 E 86th Street, Indianapolis, IN 46240), you will serve as a problem solver, trusted advisor, and partner to clients. This client-first, sales-driven role involves engaging in meaningful conversations to uncover financial needs, recommend solutions, and build lasting relationships. Whether in-person or via proactive calls, you'll help clients navigate their financial goals while contributing to branch success through teamwork and competitive spirit.
Key Responsibilities
Client Engagement & Sales
- Listen for financial wellness opportunities and provide customized recommendations.
- Open accounts including consumer checking, small business, loans, and CDs.
- Attain sales goals through preset appointments, walk-ins, and referrals.
Team Collaboration & Operations
- Build partnerships with branch teammates and business lines like Key Investment Services.
- Support teller line transactions and participate in daily huddles.
- Ensure compliance with all policies, risk, and audit procedures.
Weekend Availability
Work Saturdays as directed by management to serve our community.
Required Qualifications
Education & Experience
- High School Diploma/GED required; Bachelor's Degree preferred.
- 1+ years in sales, customer relationships, and referral building.
- Consumer credit knowledge (LTV, DTI, credit reports).
Skills & Technical
- Sales techniques including prospecting and networking.
- PC proficiency (MS Office) and digital banking education.
- Strong communication, influence, and teamwork abilities.
Notary License preferred. KeyBank provides training for success.
