Position Summary
Join our team as a Personal Banker at our Poughkeepsie, NY branch located at 55 Burnett Boulevard. This full-time role offers a competitive hourly salary range of $20.67 - $31.25 (equivalent to approximately $42,993 - $65,000 annually based on 2080 hours). We're seeking a client-focused, sales-driven professional who thrives in a fast-paced branch environment. As a Personal Banker, you'll engage clients through in-person interactions and proactive calls to uncover needs, recommend solutions, and build lasting relationships that foster financial confidence.
Key Responsibilities
- Embody a strong client experience culture by listening for financial opportunities and providing customized recommendations.
- Open personal and business accounts, including checking, loans, CDs, and more.
- Develop partnerships with branch teammates and specialists in investments, mortgages, and business banking.
- Consistently meet sales, activity, and outcome goals while ensuring compliance with all policies.
- Support branch operations, including teller duties, huddles, and Saturday shifts as needed.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent (Bachelor's preferred) and 1+ year of sales/customer relationship experience.
- Knowledge of consumer credit (loan-to-value, debt-to-income, credit reports).
- Proficiency in sales techniques, digital tools, and MS Office.
- Strong communication, teamwork, and influencing skills.

- Open personal and business accounts, loans, and deposit products
- Develop partnerships with teammates and line of business partners for client acquisition
- Attain individual activity, behavior, and outcome goals
- Ensure compliance with operational, risk, and audit procedures
- Support branch operations including teller line as needed
- Participate in morning huddles and end-of-day debriefs
- Work Saturdays as directed
