Position Summary
As a Personal Banker at KeyBank's Tonawanda branch (2030 Sheridan Drive), you'll be the face of our commitment to exceptional client service. This sales-driven role involves engaging clients through in-person interactions and proactive calls to uncover financial needs and recommend tailored solutions. Key Responsibilities
- Deliver outstanding client experiences by listening for financial opportunities and providing customized recommendations.
- Achieve sales goals by opening accounts, loans, and deposit products for personal and business clients.
- Build partnerships with branch teams, Key Investment Services, Mortgage, and Business Banking professionals.
- Maintain compliance with all policies, document interactions, and support teller line operations.
- Facilitate huddles, debriefs, and work Saturdays as needed to serve our community.
Required Qualifications
Education: High School Diploma/GED required; Bachelor's Degree preferred.
Experience: 1+ years in sales, customer relationships, and referral building. Knowledge of consumer credit (LTV, DTI, credit reports) essential. Comfort with PCs, MS Office, and digital banking tools required. Sales techniques like prospecting and networking a must; small business interaction and partner influence preferred.
Skills: Competitive drive, ethical professionalism, and ability to overcome objections while sparking meaningful conversations.
