Position Summary
As a Personal Banker at KeyBank's Vernon, CT branch (348 Hartford Turnpike), you'll be the face of our commitment to exceptional client service. This hire-ahead position offers flexibility across area branches and requires Saturday availability. We're seeking a sales-driven, self-motivated individual with strong communication skills to engage clients, uncover needs, and drive financial solutions. Earn a competitive hourly rate of $20.67 - $31.25 (approximately $42,993 - $65,000 annually based on 2080 hours), with opportunities to exceed through performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver outstanding client experiences through in-person and proactive phone interactions, recommending tailored financial wellness solutions.
- Achieve sales goals by opening accounts, loans, and deposit products while deepening client relationships.
- Build partnerships with branch teams, Key Investment Services, Mortgage, and Business Banking professionals.
- Support daily branch operations, including teller line assistance, morning huddles, and compliance with all policies.
- Leverage sales techniques like prospecting, networking, and objection handling to attract new clients.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's Degree preferred.
- 1+ years in sales/customer relationships; financial services experience a plus but not required.
- Knowledge of consumer credit fundamentals and digital banking tools.
- Proficiency in MS Office, PCs, and client education on mobile/web platforms.
- Strong teamwork, communication, and influencing skills; Notary License preferred.
