Position Summary
The Private Client Advisor role at KeyBank focuses on serving our mass affluent client base with comprehensive planning and financial wellness strategies. As the primary provider of investment services, you'll identify full relationship opportunities, partner with retail branch teams, and deliver tailored investment solutions to clients with $50,000+ in investable assets, targeting those with $250,000 to $2 million.
Key Responsibilities
- Grow new clients and expand existing relationships through consistent sales processes and financial planning.
- Host holistic financial wellness conversations to uncover investment and banking opportunities.
- Provide needs-based financial solutions using consultative sales and assessment tools.
- Achieve sales and referral goals by leveraging book of business, leads, and branch partnerships.
- Develop Centers of Influence strategies and cross-sell KeyBank products ethically.
- Coach and mentor branch personnel to maximize client-focused sales production.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma required; Bachelor's Degree preferred.
- FINRA Licenses: SIE, S7, S66 (or S63 & 65) required upon hire.
- State Insurance Licenses (Life, Variable, Accident/Health or Life & Disability) required.
- CFP certification preferred.
- Strong sales track record, client focus, and team collaboration skills.
- Valid driver's license; occasional travel required.
