Position Summary

As a Private Client Advisor at KeyBank in East Greenbush, NY, you will focus on our mass affluent client base, delivering holistic financial planning and investment solutions. This full-time, mid-level role involves building strong client relationships, partnering with retail branch teams, and driving sales growth for clients with $250,000 to $2 million in investable assets. Leverage your expertise in investment services to uncover opportunities across banking and investments, ensuring client-centric advice and exceptional service.

Key Responsibilities

• Grow new clients and expand existing relationships targeting mass affluent segments with investable assets over $50,000, emphasizing $250K-$2M range.
• Lead financial wellness conversations, create comprehensive financial plans, and identify cross-selling opportunities for investments and banking products.
• Utilize consultative sales processes and assessment tools to deliver tailored investment solutions in partnership with branch staff.
• Achieve sales production and referral goals through book of business management, lead generation, and referral closure.
• Coach and mentor branch personnel, coordinate investment product delivery, and build Centers of Influence strategies within the Consumer Bank.

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma required; Bachelor's Degree preferred.
• FINRA licenses: SIE, S7, S66 (or S63 & 65) upon hire; State Insurance Licenses (Life, Variable, Accident/Health) required.
• CFP certification preferred; must obtain required licenses within specified timeframe.
• Proven sales track record in investments, strong client focus, and team collaboration skills.
• Valid driver's license; ability to travel occasionally and use office equipment.
