Position Summary
As a Private Client Banker at KeyBank's Amelia branch (18 W Main Street, Amelia, OH 45102), you'll serve clients with up to $2M in investable assets. Embody a problem-solver mindset, delivering plan-based financial advice, assessing needs, and referring tailored solutions from Retail, Key Investment Services, Private Bank, Mortgage, or Business Banking. Earn a competitive salary of $50,998 - $78,000 annually ($24.52 - $37.50/hour), plus opportunities for growth in a supportive team environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Champion exceptional client experiences by listening for financial wellness cues and providing customized recommendations, including referrals for investments and insurance.
- Prospect and build referral pipelines through disciplined calling, networking with internal partners and external influencers.
- Open accounts (checking, business, deposits, lending, CDs) and deepen client relationships.
- Maintain compliance with all policies, support branch operations like teller duties, and participate in huddles/debriefs.
- Work Saturdays as needed and stay current on private client products versus competitors.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma/GED (required); Bachelor's Degree (preferred).
- Experience developing customer relationships, achieving sales goals, and building insurance/investment referrals.
- FINRA S6, S63, SIE licenses upon hire; Life and Health Insurance licenses.
- Strong interpersonal skills, sales techniques (tele-consulting, prospecting), PC/digital tech proficiency.
- Comfort with small business clients, influencing partners, and ethical banking practices.
