Position Summary

The Quantitative Analytics Associate - Controllership role on our Risk Modeling Enablement team within Finance supports critical credit loss forecasting models for CECL Allowance and Capital Stress Testing. This mid-level position involves implementing, testing, and validating models while collaborating cross-functionally with Lines of Business, Risk Management, and Key Technology teams. Leverage your analytics expertise in Python, GCP, and data platforms to drive production environments and strategic initiatives in a fast-paced banking environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Implement, test, document, and validate credit loss forecasting models for CECL and stress testing.
  • Coordinate with stakeholders to align activities impacting credit models.
  • Maintain production environments with process controls on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
  • Design and implement production applications for credit loss modeling.
  • Gather requirements, translate to technical specs, and support CECL environment changes.
  • Participate in annual Capital Plan Stress Tests, producing vetted forecasts.
  • Perform data and process validation across project phases.
  • Communicate insights to stakeholders and optimize processes using best coding practices.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Math, Statistics, Data Analytics, Computer Science, Finance, or related field.
  • 2+ years of relevant experience or graduate degree.
  • Proficiency in Python (NumPy, Pandas) and database querying (BigQuery, DB2).
  • Experience building dashboards with Tableau or Google Looker Studio.
  • Strong skills in handling complex datasets, communication, and problem-solving.

Preferred: Git, cloud analytics (GCP, AWS), quantitative modeling, CECL standards, bank stress testing (CCAR/DFAST), ReactJS.
