Position Summary
The Real Estate Analyst - Special Servicing role at KeyBank in Overland Park, KS, supports the management of non-performing and under-performing real estate loans and REO properties. This mid-level position involves detailed financial analysis of property operating statements and borrower financials, variance reporting, and preparation of asset status reports. Key Responsibilities
- Review, analyze, and create spreadsheets for periodic property operating statements, ensuring reporting deadlines are met.
- Compare statements against budgets, identify and explain variances.
- Analyze borrower financial statements and maintain servicing system data.
- Prepare financial sections for Monthly Asset Status Reports and quarterly AQR reports.
- Assist with Trust communications, site inspections, and coordinate third-party property reports.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent job-related experience.
- Proficiency in Excel, Word, and Access; computer literacy required.
- Experience in commercial real estate loan credit analysis, underwriting, or servicing.
- Strong communication skills and ability to prioritize tasks in a high-volume setting.
- Some travel required; hybrid work model.
Preferred Qualifications
Knowledge of commercial mortgage-backed securities origination and servicing is highly recommended.
