Position Summary
The Real Estate Collections Specialist plays a crucial role in our Real Estate Collections and Recovery team. This hybrid position (100% on-site training, then 2 days in-office weekly) offers mostly day shifts with one required late shift per week and rotating Saturday mornings. Earn $18.75-$25.00/hour (up to $52,000 annually) plus incentives while helping customers navigate financial challenges with empathy and expertise.
Key Responsibilities
Core Duties
- Conduct thorough conversations to identify delinquency causes and offer tailored solutions
- Spend 90% of workday handling inbound/outbound calls to resolve account issues
- Leverage strong negotiation skills to demonstrate benefits of maintaining account status
- Maintain strict adherence to scheduled breaks, lunches, and phone time
- Document interactions accurately and participate in team trainings
Schedule Details
Monday-Friday 8AM-9PM ET shifts, primarily 8AM-4:30PM with one weekly late shift (12:30PM-9PM). One Saturday/month 8AM-12PM. Hybrid: In-office Tuesdays/Wednesdays.
Required Qualifications
Education & Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- 1+ year customer service experience preferred
Essential Skills
- Excellent verbal/written communication and interpersonal abilities
- Analytical mindset with strong problem-resolution skills
- Comfort navigating multiple systems and proficient in Microsoft Office (including Excel)
- Team player who thrives under pressure and meets deadlines
- Quiet home office setup for 3 remote days/week
- Exceptional attention to detail and reliable attendance
